Empanadas are made by folding dough or bread around stuffing, which usually consists of a variety of meat, cheese, vegetables or seafood, among others.
Chilean empanadas -our specialty!- can have a wide range of fillings, but two basic types are the most popular: One is baked and filled with pino, a traditional Chilean filling. The second is usually filled with cheese or the combination of cheese and ham.
